This online training program is held over a series of four half-days. Participation in ALL 4 sessions is mandatory.

This program develops an understanding of Lean and its applicability within the organization as well as a basic proficiency in applying key Lean tools and practices to make small improvements across a variety of service settings.

• Lean principles and their application in healthcare
• Initiating a Lean activity
• Introduction to process and value stream mapping
• Introduction to Kaizen
• Problem solving
• Introduction to 5S
• Implementing and sustaining improvements

ASSESSMENT

Participants need to successfully complete a 1-hour online exam at the end of the training program to gain Yellow Belt certification.

DELIVERY MODES AND DURATION

Online instructor-led. Equivalent of two (2) days of training delivered over 4 x 0.5-day live sessions.
